Your cap table records who owns what. BildrX splits it into nine tabs, each doing one job.

The nine tabs across the top of Cap Table in BildrX
TabWhat it's for
StakeholdersThe people and entities who can hold equity
Issue securityIssuing new shares or instruments
Grants & poolsYour reserved pool and individual grants
Notes & warrantsNot covered in this guide
Treasury & certificatesNot covered in this guide
SignaturesSignature requests raised from issued securities
SecuritiesEvery security you've issued, plus the priced round modeler
LedgerThe permanent transaction history
OwnershipWho owns what percentage, and your exports

The ledger is append-only. Nothing gets deleted. Cancel a security and the row stays, marked cancelled. Every correction is a new entry, not an edit. A cap table is a historical record, and investors in diligence need to see how you got here.

Where to start: add stakeholders, set your authorized share count, issue founder shares, then set up your option pool under Grants & pools.

BildrX gives operational tools for managing your cap table. It doesn't give legal, tax, or financial advice. Equity decisions carry legal and tax consequences that depend on your jurisdiction and circumstances. Get advice from a qualified lawyer or accountant before issuing securities, granting options, or closing a round.
